Digipak analysis of edm covers

The Calvin harris digipak includes his face as the centre of attention This is significant as it shows that people want to know that it is him that is making the music another common theme across EDM digipak covers is sharp angular lines which Calvin Harris's digipak includes with a Triangles around his face he uses warm colours for the imagery and cold grey colours for the letters making both stand out from each other.

Kygo’s approach it's much more simplistic with only his logo at the top end the album name at the bottom with a simplistic blue line as the main piece of focus for his digipak. The high contrast creates a “clean” look along with the white background that could make it stand out for more complicated digipaks.

The final digipak is also very simple and white and aesthetically pleasing. the understated look creates a sense of premium quality and minimalism this could be appealing to a large audience as most people like a sense of luxury.

For my digipak, I'm going to use a simplistic approach to create the same “clean” look kygo has achieved. And furthermore,

I feel as if the Les are on the outside of the digipak The nicer it looks.
