Performance-based music video shows the artist/band performing. If they are singing or playing their instruments then it is considered a performance video they don't even necessarily need to dance or move. Sometimes the lip-syncing can be done by either model(s) as well as the band/artist. In music videos, you may have girl models lip-syncing male vocals, etc
An example would be Oliver Tree - Let Me Down [Official Music Video]
Narrative music videos are based on a story, can be linked to lyrics but can also be random. It has a start, middle, and end to it, and then comes to a conclusion. It can be like a short movie. This might be shown by the artist/band but usually can be seen performed by a model/actor because the artist/band would be performing the song. A purely narrative music video would have no singing and has followed a story.
An example would be Avicii - Wake Me Up (Official Video)
Concept music videos are based on an idea or a concept. It combines all the characteristics of the song. It can be very confusing and random and usually doesn’t have a story(but not always random & confusing). It can be cool to watch since it will be unexpected and dynamic.
An example would be Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High)
though it's a mixture between a performance and a concept based music video
